About Us
Hi, I’m Anne, taking small steps toward wellness (still managing PCOS), surviving WFH life, enjoying family trips, and proving you don’t need extremes to feel good.
We’re a family of three, my husband Jason and our 13-year-old daughter Nyah. Life isn’t perfect, but we’re learning, experimenting, and sharing our journey along the way.
Why I Started Sanitas Today
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2017, and everything changed: weight gain, mood swings, unpredictable cycles… you name it. Instead of stressing over it, I decided to take small, realistic steps to prevent it from getting worse while still enjoying life. That’s why I share the supplements I take (hello, inositol!), family-friendly wellness habits, and tips to balance life without extreme dieting or hardcore exercise.
I started Sanitas Today to share the lessons, experiments, and small steps that have helped me manage PCOS and balance life as a WFH mom. The name Sanitas comes from the Latin word for health and well-being, reflecting my focus on practical, sustainable wellness. “Today” emphasizes the small, everyday steps we can take right now—because lasting health doesn’t happen overnight, and every day is an opportunity to make life a little better.
Even in our WFH routine, we’ve found ways to make life brighter through family adventures and trips during holidays or long weekends when Jason can adjust his 9-to-5 schedule. Through Sanitas Today, I hope to inspire others to take realistic, manageable steps toward wellness, balance, and joy.
My Approach is Simple
- No extreme diets: I focus on what works for my body and lifestyle.
- No hardcore workouts: I move in ways that feel natural and doable.
- Prevent, don’t punish: My goal is to prevent PCOS from worsening while supporting overall wellness.
- Real-life experiments: What I share comes from my personal journey, what I try, what works, and what doesn’t.
Hot Takes
- Working from home is boring—but family trips fix that!
- Supplements can make a difference, sometimes more than a stressful diet plan.
- Life is too short to stress over perfection; small, consistent steps matter more.
Meet My Family
Jason – My husband works in a petroleum company, juggling a 9-to-5 schedule. He’s our anchor, always making time for family adventures when possible—even if it means adjusting his workdays for holidays or long weekends. Before this, he was a medical representative and had the opportunity to join company-sponsored international trips with cardiology and pediatrics doctors. He might share some of his experiences here too!
Nyah – Our 13-year-old is a Grade 8 student and a talented keyboardist in our church choir. She serves every Sunday and keeps life lively with her music, curiosity, and occasional teenage sass.
